Victor Minichiello, PhD, is Emeritus Professor and an Adjunct Professor at several universities. His research focus is on public health issues. He has published widely on the following topics; ageism, sexual health, aged care, sexuality across the life span, suicide and health care.
Currently, working on two ARC funded research programs that generally focus on the sexual health of seniors, and another project that specifically focuses on the health and well being of older gay and lesbian seniors. I am also leading a DFAT funded project that is bringing together researchers from Argentina and Australia to investigate collaboration on a range of topics associated with social resilience and ecological viability.
